Red Star Poker entered the market in 2005 and used to be a sking of the Cake Poker Network.

Their flagship brand Cake Poker and the entire network saw its downfall due to not processing cashout payments within the advertised timeframe. This lead to Cake being absolved by Lock Poker in 2012 and the following year Red Star Poker joined the Microgaming network instead.
