Alitalia 777 300
Alitalia (AZ, Rome Fiumicino) will add a maiden B777-300(ER) to its fleet next year airline vice chairman and Etihad Airways Group CEO, James Hogan, has said. Outlining the progress made in the eighteen months since the Emiratis bought a 49% stake in the Italian carrier, Hogan said the focus for the next year was no longer just to break even, but to turn an actual profit. PMDG B777-200LR - Air New Zealand NC: A very detailed clean livery produced as accurately as possible from images of the livery on their new 787-900. This includes both airline-specific details and corrections to the original textures: accurate door frames and photo-correct font on fuselage, transparent door windows, corrected blank windows. Alitalia Boeing 777-300ER for FSP model. Alitalia currently operates a single Boeing 777-300ER in addition to its fleet of 777-200s. These textures are intended for the FSPXAI Boeing 777-300ER base model (payware), available from SimMarket. This is the second leg of my spring trip home to visit my parents. I'm excited because the 777-300ER is Alitalia's new plane. It's kind of weird that they're using a new plane as they're going through bankruptcy proceedings, but it's a better choice than the A330-200 or 777.
Alitalia (AZ, Rome Fiumicino) has begun B777-300(ER) operations following the deployment into regular-rotation of EI-WLA (msn 35783) earlier this month.
Although the AerCap-owned and managed widebody jet has seen occasional service for the Italian carrier since September, it was only deployed into regular service on December 7. As it stands, it is currently used on Alitalia's Rome Fiumicino-Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil route. It seats 382 passengers with thirty in Business Class, twenty-four in Premium Economy, and 328 in Economy.
The decision to add the -300(ER) to Alitalia's fleet was first announced in February of this year during Cramer Ball's tenure as Chief Executive Officer. Doubts had lingered as to whether the aircraft would actually be deployed into service given Alitalia's entry into bankruptcy in May of this year.
Alitalia currently operates eleven B777-200(ER)s on flights from Rome to Argentina, Cuba, the United States, the Maldives, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Japan.
